Doing the RIGHT Thing!

President's Message:

I founded AzSpecd Solutions in 2021 because I felt that I could use the experience and education gained in 36 years in construction specifications and marketing to help make our planet a better place.

Our planet was, and is changing, and not for the better and Canada is well behind the rest of the world when it comes to developing renewable energy tech. We are playing catch up. My goal has been to scour the world and find innovative renewable energy products and technology that would help fill a niche here and support ongoing efforts in sectors such as large wind turbines, heat pumps, and roof top solar panels.

The products you see on this website are the result of this ongoing work. They are among the most modern and innovative technology in the world today and their founders and innovators have agreed to allow me to bring them to Atlantic Canada and educate potential customers on their potential.

​

I recently took stock of what I have accomplished in just over two years. As an entrepreneur you often lose sight of your efforts.  A look through my calendars and CRM has astonished me. (keeping in mind that I am the sole employee). Here it is "by the numbers":

• 402 (and counting) in person and virtual lunch and learns and presentations to a wide variety of people including government (all 3 levels), not-for-profits, engineers, developers, architects, manufacturers, First Nation communities, Port Authorities and more.

• 21 Industry Trade Show Exhibits.

• 3 Guest Speaking engagements

• 10 Renewable Energy Association Memberships

• 4 Industry Podcasts

I am certain there is a partridge in a pear tree there somewhere.

There are more, but this helps provide a sense of the amount of effort it entails

I have completely self-funded these efforts because I believe in the technology and the need for it. What AzSpecd is not is a manufacturer's representative. Yes, that is a small part of what I do and if my efforts turn into sales, I will eventually receive a commission. But it is so much more.

 

It is about informing, educating, teaching, and encouraging our engineers, architects, government officials, developers, and homeowners to think outside of the box.

 

The technology you see here allows us to seamlessly integrate renewable energy onto the sides of our buildings with BIPV Cladding.  Our waterfronts, parks, and streets could be the site of silent vertical wind turbines that are aesthetically pleasing and harnessing our abundant winds here on the East Coast.

​

Our rivers and streams could have small hydro turbines invisibly  harnessing the power of our abundant waterways while not harming our marine life or ecosystems.

​

The most exciting part is that some of these companies have expressed an interest in eventually manufacturing right here in Atlantic Canada once we have shown that there is strong potential to generate sales here.

​

I will continue to do my part. Now it is time for my fellow Canadians to get on board and embrace this technology. Together we can make a difference.
